Accra Great Olympics continued their relegation escape mission with a stunning 1:1 draw against title contenders Aduana Stars in Dorma.

With so much at stake for both teams, many expected the match to be a difficult one, especially for Great Olympics, considering the strength of Aduana at home but it was Olympics who returned home the happier side.

After a stalemate first half, Isaac Nyarko shocked the hosts by giving great Olympics the lead.

The match appeared to be heading for a shock away win for the Wonder Club, but with 7 minutes to the end, Aduana's day was rescued when they were awarded a penalty which Nana Yaw Afriyie converted.

The draw has had serious implications on the league table, especially at the top. Aduana went into the game a point behind title rivals, Ashantigold but they are now 3 points behind with 3 matches to the end.
