Accra Great Olympics face off with Asante Kotoko in Kumasi

Former Champions Asante Kotoko will play yet again at Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi, this time against Accra Great Olympics, even though they will play as the visiting team. The Reds are riding on the back of the non availability of the Accra Sports Stadium as games against Accra Hearts of Oak and Accra Great Olympics have had to take place in Kumasi.

The Porcupine Warriors have won their last three League games at Baba Yara following victories over Medeama SC (1-0), Berekum Chelsea (1-0) and Accra Hearts of Oak (3-2).

Their current run of form puts them in a good place, especially at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

Accra Great Olympics currently occupy the 12th position in the league table with 16 points having accumulated 14 points at home - on the back of 4 wins, 2 draws and 1 loss. The Dade Boys have scored and conceded 3 goals in the process.

Great Olympics have won 1, drawn 1 and suffered 3 defeats and are currently winless in their last four games.

Asante Kotoko sit 7th in the league table with 22 points and are unbeaten in their last 5 games having won 4 and drawn 1 with four wins in their last four games.

Accra Great Olympics have one outstanding game against Medeama SC.

For Great Olympics their star man and 4 goal hero Emmanuel Antwi is available for selection on Sunday with the likes of Solomon Adomako, Benjamin Asare, Razak Kasim, Kekeli Attor, Ebenezer Sekyere, Matthew Agama and Micheal Osei all pushing for a starting place.

The game will be broadcast live on StarTimes Adepa channel 247 at 3pm on Sunday.

At the Dun’s Park in Bibiani, GoldStars FC who are winless in their last 9 games will host League leaders, FC Samartex 1996.

GoldStars are currently 17th in the league and will go into the game in search of their first win in 10 games. The Miners have managed 2 wins, 3 draws and suffered 2 defeats at DUN’S Park in the ongoing campaign.

FC Samartex 1996 are unbeaten in their last 5 games, having won 4 and recorded 1 draw and are currently 1st in the league table with 26 points after winning their last three games against Real Tamale United, Bofoakwa Tano and Hearts of Lions.

Elsewhere at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium in Tamale, Real Tamale United will host Berekum Chelsea.

The returnees have two outstanding games against Dreams FC and Medeama SC as a result of the duo's engagement in CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup.

Legon Cities are 8th in the league table with 18 points after 2 wins, 1 draw and 2 defeats.

The Royals boast 1 win, 2 draws and 4, defeats - having leaked 3 and conceded 8 goals.

Club top scorer Saaka Dauda is available for selection as the likes of Elijah Addai, Alhassan Ali, Najib Ibrahim, Bright Boakye Kyereh, Kelvin Oppong, Clinton Baffour, Emmanuel Ankrah and Andrews Appau.

Forward Kwabena Boateng is expected to feature alongside Frank Antwi, William Adjei, Nicolas Mensah, Kamal Suraje, Albert Yeboah, Joseph Mereku, Kwame Aziz, Frank Akoto and Richard Senanu.
