The youth football calendar for the 2026 offseason has been announced, reaffirming our commitment to nurturing the next generation of football talents across the country.

Under the our flagship youth development slogan, "Power To The Youth," we continue to prioritize the development of grassroots and juvenile football as part of its broader strategy of fixing the fundamentals of the game.

The offseason calendar will commence with the Elite U15 Boys Colts Championship, which is scheduled to take place from May 29 to June 3, 2026. The competition will bring together some of the most talented young players from across the country, providing them with an opportunity to showcase their abilities on a national platform.

Immediately after, attention will shift to the girls' game with the Elite U15 Girls Inter-Regional Championship, which will be staged from June 5 to June 10, 2026. The tournament forms part of the our efforts to strengthen the women's football development pathway and identify future stars for Ghana's national teams.

The youth football action will continue later in the year with the Elite U17 Girls Colts Championship, scheduled to run from July 30 to August 4, 2026. The competition is expected to feature the country's best young female talents as they compete for top honours and national recognition.

Following the girls' championship, the spotlight will turn to the MTN Elite U19 Championship, which will be played from August 24 to September 4, 2026. The tournament remains one of the most important youth competitions on the Ghana football calendar, serving as a bridge between juvenile football and the elite levels of the game.

The 2026 Youth Football Timeline will conclude with the KGL U17 Boys Colts Inter-Regional Championship, scheduled from September 3 to September 13, 2026. The tournament will bring together the best regional selections from across the country and provide another platform for talent identification and development.

We believe these competitions will continue to strengthen the country's football ecosystem by creating opportunities for young players to develop, compete, and transition into the elite levels of the game.

With youth development remaining a central pillar of our strategic agenda, the 2026 offseason competitions are expected to play a significant role in shaping the future of Ghana football while reinforcing the GFA's unwavering commitment to empowering young talents through football.

All the competitions will be played at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence, Prampram.
