The Volta Regional Football Association (VRFA) will hold its 2026 Ordinary Congress on Thursday, October 8, 2026, in line with Articles 31 and 32 of the Ghana Football Association Statutes.

The Congress will take place at the Ho Municipal Assembly Hall at 10:00am and will bring together delegates, club representatives and other stakeholders to discuss issues concerning the development and administration of football in the Volta Region.

As the highest decision-making body of the Association, Congress will provide an opportunity to assess the work done during the past season and take decisions on key matters ahead of the 2026/27 football season.

Among the issues expected to come before Congress are the review of the 2025/26 season, approval of the financial statements, consideration of the Association’s budget for the new season, the competitions calendar and plans for football development in the region.

The VRFA has circulated the official convocation notice and relevant Congress documents, including the agenda, Activity Report, Financial Statements and Auditor’s Report, to members ahead of the meeting.

The Executive Council, led by Chairman Daniel Agbogah, will also use the Congress to engage clubs and other stakeholders on the progress made so far and the challenges facing grassroots football in the region.

The meeting is expected to end with the announcement of the start date for the 2026/27 regional league season across the various divisions.

Delegates have been urged to arrive on time as the Association prepares to begin another football season in the region.
