The 2026/27 Women's FA Cup competition will commence on the weekend of November 20, 2025, and conclude on May 10, 2027, as confirmed by the season's calendar approved by the Executive Council.
A total of 64 teams will compete for the prestigious title, comprising 44 clubs from the Division One Regional Women’s leagues and 20 teams from the Women’s Premier League.
The competition will begin with the Round of 64, where fixtures will be determined on a regional basis to minimize travel and enhance local rivalries.
From the Round of 16 onwards, the tournament will transition into a zonal format, intensifying competition as teams battle for progression to the latter stages.
