After bolstering their squads and going back to the drawing board, the National Women's League returns this weekend with the second round matches.

Police Ladies might have dominated the Southern Division in the first round but they will be put to a strict test when they meet Soccer Intellectuals away.

Sitting just a point behind Police, champions, Hasaacas Ladies will open the second round at home against Lady Strikers.

Much will be expected of the division's basement ladies, Ayola, who will attempt to turn their season with the visit of Immigration Ladies.

Ayola reached the halfway stage of their league debut still winless and yet to record their first goal of the season.

The battle for the top in the Northern half appears a straight contest between Fabulous Ladies and Ashtown Ladies.

Both remain joint-top and will go head-to-head again at the Wesco Park this weekend after their previous game ended goalless.

Prisons Ladies will be away to Sharp Arrows looking for another victory after their 7-0 rout over the latter in the first round while Oforikrom Ladies also play away to Ampem Darkoa Ladies.
