Ghana's U-17 team have been paired with familiar foe, the Gambia in the qualifying for the 2013 Africa U-17 Championship.

The Black Starlets enter the qualifying campaign in the first round coach Paa Kwesi Fabin's team playing away in the first leg on the weekend of 19-21 October.

The return clash in Accra will be played on the weekend of 2-4 November.

Gambia has a history with Ghana in the age competition after ending the Black Starlets' hopes of a place at the 2009 tournament.

Ghana again missed out of last year's U-17 Championships following defeat to Senegal in the final qualifier on penalties.
