Ghana coach Avram Grant has handed Tunisia-based midfielder Seidu Salifu his debut Black Stars call-up for next week's friendlies against Senegal and Mali.

The Club Africaine midfielder was named in the Black Stars trainer's 22-man squad for the two matches to played in France.

The team is dominated by players who excelled for Ghana at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea last month.

But captain Asamoah Gyan has been excused for the two friendlies as he is continuing with his recovery from a slight injury at his club side.
