Registration of nine players on hold

The Premier League Board has confirmed that the registration of nine players has been put on hold pending a decision by the Disciplinary Committee.

According to the PLB, until the cases pending before the DC are determined the players' registration would not be validated for the 2010/2011 Glo Premier League.

Objections have been raised by other clubs over the registration process of the affected players below:

Player: Akwasi Addai-Apraku

Protesting Club: Tafoman FC Responding Club: Aduana FC

Reason:That Aduana FC changed the former club of the player from Tafoman FC to FC Porto


Player: Ekow Benson

Protesting Club: Aduana Stars Fc Responding Club: Tema Youth

Reason: That Tema Youth has fraudulently released the player to Asante Kotoko despite the agreement Aduana had with both the player and Tema Youth. More so Tema Youth and the player took initial amount for the release of the player from Aduana.

Player: Razak Kasimu

Protesting Club: Top Ten Juvenile Aca. FC Responding Club: Dream FC/Chelsea FC

Reason: Dream FC has no right to transfer the player to any local club without the knowledge of Top Ten Academy.

Player: Abdul Razak

Protesting Club: Unity Sporting Club Responding Club: Aduana FC

Reason: He has not been released to any club


Player: Frank Damoah

Protesting Club: Unity Sporting Club Responding Club: Aduana FC

Reason: He has not been released to any club.


Player: Nii Lamptey-Mills

Protesting Club: MAU Hearts Babies FC Responding Club: Blessing FC/Hearts Of Oak

Reason: The player is a property of MAU Hearts Babies but transferred to Hearts of Oaks by Blessing FC

Player: Osei Berko

Protesting Club: Sporting Mirren FC Responding Club: Berekum Arsenals FC

Reason: That the player has a running contract with Sporting Mirren and also the name of his former club was not published.

Player: Eric Fordjour

Protesting club: Busua Youth Soccer Academy Responding club: KingFaisal FC/Ashgold

Reason: king Faisal has not paid 30% of the onward transfer fee when the player went to Ashantigold

Player: Gabriel Darko

Protesting Club: Proud United SC Responding Club: Mysterious Dwarfs

Reason: The player has not been released to any club.
