Premiership debutants, New Edubiase have been handed a GHC4,000 fine for the repeated misconduct of their supporters before the start of the league game with Aduana Stars at the Len Clay Stadium on March 21.
The club's supporters harassed the away side - Aduana - as they entered the stadium for the match.
According to the Disciplinary Committee, the improper behaviour of the supporters had the effect of putting the game of football into disrepute having done same during their meeting with Chelsea in December 2009.
Meanwhile, a fine of GHC4,000 has been imposed on Real Tamale United for the actions of their supporters towards the match officials for their league match with Berekum Arsenals.
Supporters of RTU were found guilty of throwing missiles at the match officials during the game at the Tamale Sports Stadium.
The Disciplinary Committee awarded the fine for the repeated misconduct of the supporters after similar incident when Aduana Stars visited in October 2009.
