Despite drawing yet again, Aduana Stars still remain top of the standings in the premiership as their closest challengers, AshantiGold lost away over the weekend.

An exciting weekend in the Glo Premier League saw Hearts of Oak win the Accra derby 1-0 over 10-men Great Olympics at the Ohene Djan Stadium.

The Phobians, who now move two points of the leaders secured the derby spoils thanks to a first half striker by Samuel Affum as Hearts went on to miss a spot kick in the second half against an Olympics side that played part of the game with ten men.

Hearts are third and level on points with the second-placed side ahead of their biggest game of the season against Asante Kotoko in Kumasi on Sunday.

At Dormaa, Aduana could only draw goalless with Beechem Chelsea as the leaders hold onto a two-point.

AshantiGold failed to capitalize on Aduana's dip in form in recent times as the Miners were defeated 1-0 in Kpando by Heart of Lions who are now fourth on the table.

Hasaacas gave their hopes of survival a major boost after drawing 1-1 with Asante Kotoko, who drop out of the top four.

Edward Affum put the Porcupine Warriors in the lead at the Sekondi Sports Stadium as he angled a shot to the first post, past goalkeeper Sannie Mohammed after Kabiru Imoro had missed a penalty awarded Kotoko.

But minutes before the break, Joe Agyemang drew Hasaacas level when he connected a great pass by Joseph Ato Bissah.

Kessben FC were biggest losers over the weekend, losing 4-0 at the Carl Reindorf Park to Liberty Professionals.

New Edubiase and Wa All Stars drew goalless in their clash at the Len Clay Stadium.

The relegation woes of Eleven Wise was dealt another blow after the Sekondi-based side lost 2-0 to King Faisal at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Frank Acheampong and Ebo Andoh scored both goals for Faisal.

Real Tamale United rallied back from a goal down to beat Berekum Arsenals 2-1 at the Tamale Sports Stadium.
