The FA's Review Committee has dismissed an application by Tema Youth against a decision by the Appeals Committee to give back to Hearts of Oak their deducted points and goals.
Thursday's hearing was attended by both parties, Tema Youth and Accra Hearts of Oak.
The Review Panel chaired by Jude Adu-Amankwah in their ruling stated that Hearts of Oak within the situation that they found themselves before match-day-VII could not have petitioned the FA eight clear days before pulling out of the fixture as stipulated by the regulations.
The ruling means both clubs would play the match-day-VII encounter at a date yet to be announced by the Professional League Board.
Tema Youth were seeking a hearing over the decision to give back to Hearts of Oak the three points and three goals deducted by the Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association.
The Appeals Committee also ordered a replay of the game between both clubs.
However, Tema Youth who had been declared winners by a Disciplinary Committee decision applied for a review of the Appeals Committee’s ruling.
Hearts of Oak failed to show up for their match-day-VII encounter against Tema Youth on October 21st claiming they were respecting a court injunction restraining the FA from organizing the league.
