Accra Hearts of Oak on Thursday unveiled their new look new seven-man management team to the local media at the club’s headquarters in Accra.
The team consisted of four members from the former previous management with three new additions.
The three new additions included Kurt E.S Okraku (Director of Communications and Marketing), Jofel Nyametei (Director of Finance) and Kofi Anokye Owusu (Director of Welfare and the junior team, Auroras).
Tommy Okine maintains his position as the CEO.
Other old members of this team were Steve Akwetey (Directors of Operations, Barimah Attuahene (Tickets and Security) and Maxwell Addo (Projects and Protocol).
The new management team have the mandate to run the affairs of the club until the end of the 2006/07 premier league season.
The club’s Board of Directors last month reconstituted the interim management team after a major downsizing exercise.
Though no reason was given, the move according to club insiders was to end the dual roles of board members serving on the interim management team which a section of the support base had kicked against.
The national support base of Accra Hearts of Oak - NCC, two months ago proposed a change of the club’s management structure claiming the then structure hindered the successful running of the club.
Five members of then 11-man interim management team were also members of the club’s board of Directors.
The club has a 24-member board of directors are expected name a substantive management team hopefully before the weekend’s final round of matches in the premiership.
