Kumasi Asante Kotoko boss, Sylvester Asare-Owusu says the club’s tactical play has improved since Turkish coach, Telat Uzum took over the technical duties of the club.
The Porcupine Warriors have recorded three wins since the Turkish joined the club though he only observed on his debut.
Telat Uzum took over from Emmanuel Kwasi Afranie last month after a string of poor results.
“Our tactical play has changed and you can see some cohesion among the boys. I see the clash with AshantiGold as the clash of the titans.
“It’s a match between two Ashanti-based teams and though it would be difficult, I think we would carry the day,” the Kotoko CEO said in a post match interview.
Asante Kotoko, the defending league champions on Sunday recorded a 2-0 away win over Power FC to qualify for the 2007 CAF Champions League competition though with a game to go.
The win by Kotoko ensured that the Porcupine Warriors set up the title decider date for the final day on Sunday when they play leaders, AshantiGold at home.
