King Faisal’s fine form in the league last week was dealt a severe blow at the Tema park as they went down 2-0 to Tema Youth on match-day-XI.

Faisal, were hoping to carry their impressive form that saw them halt AsahantiGold’s unbeaten run into Saturday’s match but found Tema Youth a rather tough opposition to contend with.

Tema Youth’s 20 year-old Edward Afum put them ahead in the first half.

The home side increased the tally as Faisal goalkeeper, Sam Okyere watched on haplessly as Ibrahim Dushie’s shot at goal deflected off his defender into the post for the second goal.

The win sends Tema Youth fourth on the table at least for now while King Faisal are third from bottom.
