An injury time goal from Kwame Obeng-Darko ensured that Asante Kotoko narrowed the gap at the top to one as the Porcupine Warriors beat Real Sportive 2-1 at the Konongo park.
Real Sportive drew first blood when Nuhu Fuseini in the 18th minute scored the opener.
Sportive held onto the lone goal lead to end the first half.
In the second half, substitute, Ahmed Toure got the equalizer for Asante Kotoko, a goal which breathed life into their title ambitions.
Kotoko probed for the winner and but missed some good chances that came their way.
With almost two minutes to go, Kwame Obeng-Darko popped up in the Real Sportive goal area to win the day for Asante Kotoko as he struck the ball past James Nanor in post for the away side.
