Accra Hearts of Oak celebrated their 95th birthday with a sweet home victory over Feyenoord Academy.
The Phobians turned 95 on Saturday, prior to the game had been deducted three points from their build up beat Feyenoord 2-1 at the Tema park.
Ablade Morgan put the Phobians into the lead two minutes after kick off.
The striker who seems to have been rewarded a place in the starting line up after finding the back of the net in midweek connected home a pass from Moses Andoh.
Fifteen minutes later, The Phobians increased the tally from a spot kick.
Defender Dan Quaye converted the spot kick awarded Hearts of Oak after an attacker had been fouled in the box.
The Phobians held onto their 2-0 lead to end the first half.
Back from recess, Feyenoord pulled one back just a minute into the second half as Abdul Nafiu Iddrisu tapped the ball into the empty post after goalkeeper Abubakari Sulemana had fumbled with the ball.
Both sides tried to find the back of the net but were unable to score any goals.
