Clubs gear up for the premiership action as the league bounces back on Wednesday after a brief suspension due to a court injunction.

Three premiership clubs were in action over the weekend with Liberty Professionals being the biggest winners.

Ahead of the recommencement of the premier league, Liberty Professionals playing at their Carl Riendorff Park beat the male Olympic team 3-0 thus ending the Black Meteors’ four-game unbeaten run.

Mohammed Mensah put Liberty Professionals in the lead scoring in the first half before Michael Osei scored the second from the spot kick while Wahid Mohammed got the third goal.

At the Swedru Park, Accra Hearts of Oak continued to struggle as the Phobians drew goalless with Gamba All Blacks.

Match-day-VIII of the premiership has the Konongo Park hosting the epic clash between city rivals, Kumasi Asante Kotoko and King Faisal as the battle for supremacy.

Another city rivalry would be rekindled at the Tema Park where Accra Hearts of Oak lock horns with Great Olympics.

In Berekum, Arsenals welcome Tema Youth to the Golden City Park.

Gamba All Blacks would host league leaders, AshantiGold at the Swedru Park with Heart of Lions taking on Real Sportive at the Kpando Park.

At the Sunyani Coronation Park, Bofoakwa Tano and Real Tamale would battle for honours while Power FC take on Feyenoord at the Ho Sports Stadium.
