Ghana international Mubarak Wakaso has been unveiled as a player of Espanyol after completing his move from Villarreal in Spain.
The 21 year-old midfielder has signed a four-year deal for his new side.
“I am new to the Espanyol layer and I’m very happy. Tonight, I can sleep. I want to thank you for welcoming me,” said Wakaso after his presentation.
“I have a mind to fight and help the team to fight for the Champions League or Europa. I will help in any way we can.”
Wakaso made six appearances for Villarreal in the Spanish La Liga last season.
