Andre Ayew has been decorated with the 2011 Footballer of the Year prize by the Sports Writers Association of Ghana.
The Ghana international beat off competition from Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu and Harrison Afful to win the annual award on Saturday.
Andre Ayew picks the gong for his exceptional performance in the 2010/2011 season for both club and country.
However, Andre missed out of the night's flagship award, the prestigious Sports Personality of the Year prize.
He was beaten to the award by two-gold medal Paralympics athlete, Ajara Mohammed while footballer Afful came third.
