Ghana settled for a 2-2 draw with Namibia in the first match of the three-nation U-20 tournament on Sunday.

The Black Satellites after taking a two-nil lead were pegged back by their opponents at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Fatau Safiu scored the opener under the first minute before striker, Benjamin Fadi doubled Ghana's advantage on 12 minutes.

However, Orlando Wellington's side failed to hold onto their lead as Namiba, rallied back to pull a goal back through Willy Stephanusw, who scored from a free-kick.

Sadney Urikhob drew his side level from a spot-kick after centre-back Lawrence Lartey had handled a ball inside the box.

The tournament continues on Tuesday with Egypt playing Namibia. Ghana's final match will be against Egypt on July 12.
