Ghana full-back Hans Adu-Sarpei has completed a move to Schalke 04 from Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga.
The full-back who has signed a 2-year contract says he is pleased to join Schalke.
"I am very pleased that Felix Magath has given me the opportunity to play at such a great club. I am proud that I am part of this great tradition of clubs no," Adu-Sarpie said after his signing.
The signing of the Ghanaian has excited coach Felix Magath with Hans capable of playing both full-back roles.
"He has pleased me well," said Magath. "He is at home on both positions and the need to show where it is used. But he has good chances of getting a regular place to help the team immediately," the coach said.
Adu-Sarpei, 34-year-old has played his entire career in Germany having featured for Fortuna Koln, Duisburg, Wolfsburg, Leverkusen and now Schalke 04.
