The 2010 FIFA World Cup Organising Committee has expressed its appreciation to the President of the Ghana Football Association Kwesi Nyantakyi and the entire sport body for Ghana's participation at the World Cup finals.
Ghana's Black Stars were one of the 32 finalists at the competition and finished at the last-eight stage.
The 2010 OC were happy with the contributions made by the Ghanaian sport body which contributed to the tournament's success.
"Please allow me to express my sincere gratitude to you and your Association for your participation and contribution towards the success of the 2010 FIFA World Cup, hosted for the first time on the African continent.
"As a country we were extremely honoured to host you and I hope you experienced this in the way the people of South Africa came out to support and appreciate you," the 2010 Organising Committee said in a statement.
