Ghana international Aziz Ansah has taken his career to the US Major League Soccer where he would be playing in the new season for FC Dallas.
The United States club announced the capture of the 29-year-old defender on Wednesday.
Aziz, who missed out of the chance to claim an African Champions League success with Heartland FC has spent the last two seasons with the Nigerian side.
FCD coach Schellas Hyndman who was in Ghana last year to scout on Aziz says the MLS side have signed up a versatile player.
“Aziz will be a good addition to the FC Dallas defense,” said Hyndman.
“He has the ability to play in many different positions, having played in all four of the defensive positions as well as defensive/holding center midfield. When I saw him recently in Ghana he was playing right midfield. Aziz is very technical and has the athletic ability to match up in the MLS.”
The player Ansah will be eligible to play for FC Dallas pending receipt of his International Transfer Certificate.
