Asante Kotoko have two weeks to overturn defeat to Dolphins FC if they are to progress past the second round stage of the CAF Confederation Cup competition.
The Porcupine Warriors went down 2-0 in Calabar on Sunday with the Nigerian side scoring one in each half.
After nears misses by both sides, Dolphins got the opener in the 40th minute through Owazuoke Wobo.
The pattern of the second half was no different from the first session as both teams came close to finding the back of the net.
However, it was the home side who scored again as Prince Nnake drove in a shot with three minutes of play left.
Asante Kotoko host Dolphins in the reverse game at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi in a fortnight.
