Ghana international, Laryea Kingston kept alive Hearts' hopes of a top-six finish in the Scottish Premier League by scoring the winner against nine-man Dundee United.
Kingston, making his second appearance after a his return from a four-month injury fired low into the far corner of the net from just inside the box.
The Black Stars player could have found the back of the net twice but his cross-shot effort landed on the roof of the net.
After a series of near misses by both sides, it was Kingston who broke the deadlock with a composed finish in the 27th minute.
Kingston was taken off after 67 minutes with his goal separating both sides as Hearts pushed for a top-six finish in the league.
