Ivory Coast joined hosts Ghana in the African Nations Cup semi-finals with a 5-0 victory over Guinea in Sekondi on Sunday.

In Thursday's semi-finals, Ivory Coast will meet either defending champions Egypt or Angola, who play their quarter-final in Kumasi on Monday

Salomon Kalou scored a double after Abdelkader Keita had opened the scoring in the 25th minute of the quarter-final at the Sekondi Sports stadium.

Captain Didier Drogba made it two in the 70th having been put through by Kalou, who netted his double in the space of nine minutes between the 73rd and 81st.

Substitute Bakary Kone added the fifth with four minutes from time.
