Preparations made by Ghana’s Local Organising Committee for the African Cup of Nations has received commendation from the Executive Committee of the Confederation of African Football.
CAF’s Executive Committee met in Accra on Wednesday afternoon, prior to Thursday’s General Assembly and received briefing on the extent of preparations made by the Local Organising Committee to host the competition.
Magnus Rex Danquah, Chief Operating Officer of the LOC made a presentation to the Executive Committee on the current state of preparations by his group.
The soccer governing body expressed satisfaction with the level of preparations of the LOC, and edged them to double their efforts to meet challenges ahead.
