The second phase of the Milo Under 12 and 15 soccer championship is underway in the Eastern Region as Koforidua, the regions capital, is hosts the Southern Sector soccer championship.

A team each within the age categories representing the Eastern, Volta, Western and Central Regions are participating in the championship with Greater Accra Region been represented by two teams for each of the age groups at the tournament.

The competition got underway on Wednesday.

The championship is to select two representatives from each age group from the sector to meet their counterparts from the Northern Sector in the semi-finals in Accra early next year.
