Ghana gears up for the reopening of the Baba Yara Stadium after two years of reconstruction works.
The venue, now an all-seater stadium would be commissioned on Sunday ahead of next year's African Cup of Nations, which Ghana would be hosting in four major cities.
And to reopen the grounds, Ghana's junior national team, the Black Starlets take on the junior team of the Ivory Coast in an international friendly match to climax the occassion.
The Black Starlets performed a similar function when the Ohene Djan Stadium in the capital, Accra, was reopened last month.
Ghana President, J.A. Kufour is expected to reopen the 40,528 capacity stadium.
Facilities at the stadium would be put to test by fans who would enter the grounds.
