Ghana would host FIFA’s Sepp Blatter next month as the sport governing body’s President arrives for different missions however it's all football related.
Aside his African Cup of Nations duties, Sepp Blatter would be the guest of the Ghana Football Association also, when he commission’s projects funded by FIFA to improve the games infrastructural development.
Sepp Blatter would inaugurate the FIFA funded Goal Projects in Ghana, on January 19, a day before the start of the African Cup of Nations.
“It is gratifying to note that the President of FIFA, Mr. Sepp Blatter is expected to inaugurate Ghana’s Goal Projects on 19th January 2008,” said FA President, Kwesi Nyantakyi, in his review of the Executive Committee's last session for the year.
FIFA has supported Ghana by providing funds for the construction of the technical centre in Prampram - the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence -, the Ghana Football Association’s secretariat in Accra and the laying of an artificial pitch at the Tema Park.
