Nania F.C, Okwawu Utd called up by DC

The Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association has invited officials and players of Nania FC and Okwawu United FC to appear before it sittings on Tuesday, September 4.

A statement released by the FA's General Secretary - Technical, Kweku Ampim-Darko, asked all players and officials who participated in the match between the two clubs on Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at Sekondi to report at the fotball body's offices for hearing.

The officials include the Abedi Pele Ayew, Chairman of Nania FC, George Lomotey, Annor Walker, Korley Laryea and Ahmed Brynes as well as 18 players of the club.

The officials of Okwahu United include Alhaji Sulley, Adolf Adu Botwe, John Amponsah, John Labah and Atta Kakra and 18 players.

The players from the camp of Nania FC include Alhaji Kassim, Addey Kahlil, Aminu Fuseini, Emmanuel Armah, Dauda Razak, Prince D.S. Sarfo, Charles Boateng, Rahim Ayew Abdul, Daniel Aidoo and Ebenezer Nartey.

The rest are: Yusif Babamu, Henry Yartey, Lawrence Adu Boafo, William Owusu, Prince Baffoe, Ernest Adu Dansu, Abraziz Abankwah and Yusif Abdul Rahim.

Players of Okwawu United expected to be present are: Joseph Aryeetey, Kwame Antwi, Kwabena Boateng, David Mensah, Daniel Akuaku, Richard Mireku, Francis Kumi, Peter Aryinator, Frank Turkson and Akwasi Boakye.

The rest are: Godspower Igbah, Bismark Agyiri, Thomas Ackah, Adolf Gyimah, Francis Cudjoe, Fatawu Alhassan, Awudu Adama and Emmanuel Odoi.

Both clubs played out a 31-0 game that ended in favour of Nania FC in the zonal national middle league qualifying game at Sekondi.
