The Confederation of African Football-CAF, would be hosting its first meeting with the continents Education and Development Officers beginning Wednesday at its headquarters in Cairo.
The three-day would see the officers from various football associations receive lectures on their duties and support materials to aid their work in their various countries.
Ghana would be represented at the meeting by Francis Oti Akenteng, the Education and Development officer of the Ghana Football Association who would be implementing CAF’s Contract for Africa plan.
Oti Akenteng departed Accra on Sunday for the meeting.
CAF anticipates that the Contract for Africa plan which has been introduced in all of its members associations would improve the development of the game.
The document is aimed at improving grassroot development, human resource base of the game and infrastructure development.
