Ghana's meal sponsor has topped up his financial package with the FA by half a billion cedis.
The Ghana Football Association on Friday renewed its contract with Continental Commodity Trading Company (CCTC) - Rice Masters, the official meal sponsors of the Black Stars.
The new deal is an improvement of the previous package worth 1.5 billion cedis.
The FA would now earn 2 billion cedis from the new deal which would last for a year.
Continental Commodity Trading Company, distributors of the Rice Masters brand of rice will also supply over 250 bags of their product to the Black Stars.
FA president, Kwesi Nyantakyi after penning the deal for the football association stated that they would manage the resources well in their quest to put Ghana football at an appreciable standard.
He also stated the FA would be binding by the contract in order to derive the desired benefits.
Ahmed Halawi, Managing Director of CCTC said the performance of the Stars in Germany has left none in doubt and that the company were on the spot with their trust in the team prior to the World summit.
He said, "We believe in Ghana and are committed to the development of football in the country."
