Two Ghana internationals returned from injury and over the weekend featured for their clubs in the German Bundesliga.

Matthew Amoah came on as a second half substitute in the 77th minute for Borrusia Dortmund on Friday as his side cruised to a 3-1 away win over Werder Bremen.

Isaac Boakye also returned from injury to play in Wolfsburg’s goalless draw with at home to Energie Cottbus.

Boakye came off the bench in the 61st minute.

Both players have struggled for consistency this season for their clubs because of recurring injuries.
