Ghana striker, Isaac Boakye remains eager to make a return to the pitch for VFL Wolfsburg in the German Bundesliga.

Boakye has receovered from a knee injury which has kept him out of match action for his new club.

The player has expressed happiness with the team’s support.

"Everyone has given me wonderful support and the coach speaks to me every day."

Club doctors are expected to confirm Boakye’s return date for the Wolves.

"I would like to play," said the Ghana striker.

But Wolfsburg coach, Klaus Augenthaler says he would not take any risks regarding Isaac Boakye.

"You can see his quality in front of goal, but we will have to wait and see if his knee can take the strain," Augenthaler said.
