Referee Stephen Oduro, one of the affected match officials of the PLB's standard test is considering retirement a day after his name was taken off the list of Premier League referees.
Oduro together with another Class One referee, Kwaw Sampson were dismissed after a review of the performances of match officials over a five-game period by the Professional League Board.
Referee Stephen Oduro's performance in the second week game involving Bofoakwa Tano and Real Sportive at Sunyani was described as lacklustre as a result of lack of stamina, which kept him far away from the action spot.
The PLB recommended to the FA General Secretary that referee Stephen Oduro be put on ice until the Referees' Committee decides to give him another try.
Another referee, Gyasi Yamoah, was been reprimanded.
The PLB has also commended five other referees for their good works in the Premier League drama so far.
The five include three FIFA referees; Alex Kotey, William Agbovi and Vivian Aggor.
The two others are class one referees John Listowel Zilevu and Ebenezer Fergusson.
The assessment was done by the PLB’s referees monitoring desk after five matches.
