King Faisal owner, Alhaji Grunsah appears unfazed over the departure of George Amoako to cityrivals, Asante Kotoko but remains shocked over his former CEO’s inability to inform him about his switch to the Porcupine Warriors.
The former King Faisal CEO switched camp over the weekend after being named a member of Asante Kotoko’s five-member management team.
Alhaji Grunsah says he unperturbed by the turn of events.
“George Amoako came to meet King Faisal so if he has gone, I don’t feel anything about it. I don’t have a problem with George Amoako.
“George Amoako is gone, but King Faisal will still remain King Faisal. Even if I’m dead, King Faisal will still remain King Faisal”.
George Amoako joined King Faisal alongside Herbert Mensah from Kotoko after the latter’s management team and the board were dissolved for irreconcilable differences in early 2003.
At King Faisal, Amoako worked closely with Herbert Mensah for a season after which he took over as CEO following the exit of his former boss from the club.
