The president of the Ghana Football Association, Kwesi Nyantakyi has been appointed onto the Organising Committee for African Cup of Nations by Confederation of African Football.
Kwesi Nyantakyi would serve on the Organising Committee for African Cup of Nations for a two-year period spanning 2006 to 2008.
Africa’s soccer governing body, CAF has also handed appointments to other Ghanaian soccer administrators.
Ghana football legend, Abedi Ayew Pele has been appointed to serve on CAF’s Football Committee.
Former Ghana Football Association general secretary, Worlanyo K. Agra has been assigned onto CAF’s Committee for Legal Affairs and Player Status.
Alhaji M.N.D. Jawula and Ben Koufie both former FA bosses have maintained their positions on CAF.
Alhaji M.N.D. Jawula holds his membership on the Organising Committee for Inter-Club Competitions while Ben Koufie continues to serve on the Technical and Development Committee.
The Confederation of African Football’s Executive Committee made the latest appointments onto CAF’s Standing Committee and Judicial Bodies.
