The Ghana Football Association has appointed former vice-chairman of the Division One League Board, Kwame Ntow-Fiako as the new head of the first division.
Kwame Ntow-Fiako, a legal practitioner takes over from Douglas Djarbeng who reassigned his post last week.
The Football Association has also confirmed the appointment of executive committee member, Nana Ntiri Dankyi as vice chairman of the Division One League Board.
The appointments take immediate effect.
Meanwhile, the Football Assoviation has accepted the rsignation letter of Douglas Djarbeng dated September 20.
Douglas Djarbeng, after almost seven years of service to the Football Association resigned ahead of the commencement of the new league season.
The FA has expressed its gratitude to Douglas Djarbeng for his sterling qualities during his term in office.
