Poor finishing from attackers of Accra Hearts of Oak and King Faisal earned the two sides a point each in an entertaining draw.
Accra Hearts of Oak thus drop valuable points after drawing goalless with King Faisal in match-day-IV of the premiership at the Ho Sports Stadium on Saturday.
The expectant Phobians were tipped to secure all three points but wasteful finishing condemned them to only a point.
Hearts of Oak top the standings but that might change on Sunday when seven matches are played across all the centres.
The draw also improves Faisal’s placing on the log though that might also be altered after Sunday’s round of matches.
Hearts’ most expensive signing, Eric Gawu lined up against his former club for the first time since his reported 600million transfer but was also culpable of the many missed goal scoring chances that came the way of the Phobians.
Gawu had successfully broke his goal duck after eight competitive games for the Phobians in both continental and domestic matches scoring the match winner for Hearts of Oak in their 2-1 win over Heart of Lions in midweek.
But this time round, he failed to deliver the Phobians the three points.
