Real Sportive might have faltered after allowing Power FC to pick a point in Wednesday’s league game but the club's coach, Peter Voullmann is satisfied with the club’s start to the season.
Sportive were coasting to a 1-0 victory when a 58th minute equalizer from the boot of Seidu Yahaya ensured that Power FC left the Tema stadium with a point in their 1-1 drawn game.
Real Sportive took the lead through Alhassan Nuhu in the 16th minute of the first half.
But Voullmann says his side played better in the first half and deserved a point from the game. “The start from Sportive is OK, 1-1 is correct.
“I think we played passive and were not aggressive.
“That was what went wrong today (Wednesday).
“Our midfield failed to push forward and that allowed them (Power) to come at us.
“We would have to work a lot on this and also in the defence for our remaining games.”
