The national support base of Accra Hearts of Oak, NCC have proposed a change of the clubs management structure claiming the present structure hinders the successful running of the club.
Currently five members of the 11-man management team are also members of the club’s board of directors.
The club’s 24-member board of directors are expected to make a decision Tuesday concerning the dual role played by some of its members in the administration of the club.
The proposal comes in the wake of the club’s dismal performance in the MTN/CAF Champions league as the Phobians could not secure a semi-final ticket after failing to score a goal in six matches and picking only two points from an18-point haul.
Hearts of Oak were thus bottom of group B recording their worse champions league record since winning the title in 2001.
