The Division One League board has fixed September 23 for the kick off of the national league across the country.

Before the start of the new season, the management board for the league has charged all participating clubs to pay their officiating fees by close of Friday, September 22.

The chairman of the Division One League board, Douglas Djarbeng has appealed to clubs and their supporters to eschew hooliganism and rowdism to ensure a successful season.

This season’s league will have the three winners from the various zones gaining automatic promotion into the premier league.

The old national sub middle league and middle league structure has been dissolved.
