Premiership debutants, Tema Youth have failed to lure Osei Tutu Banahene back to the club’s technical bench after the coach switched camp to division one side, Seven United last week.

Osei Tutu Banahene left the club after guiding them through a friendly game last week Thursday without prior notification to Tema Youth’s management.

Division One side, Seven Utd claimed to have signed up the coach though Tema Youth chairman, Samuel Williams thought otherwise.

But ahead of Wednesday’s game, officials of Tema Youth have confirmed to The Game that Osei Tutu Banahene would not be on the club’s bench.

Tema Youth’s coaching responsibility thus falls on technical director, John Eshun.
