Ghana's under-17 side, the Black Starlets will be at home when they play Guinea on Sunday in a first leg qualifier to the African Youth Tournament.
The Black Starlets wrapped up preparations for Sunday’s first leg qualifying game with a 2-0 win over division one team, B.A United on Wednesday.
The Black Starlets completed their three-game test series ahead of the Guinean clash finding the back of the net ten times in three friendly games.
The national side first best Chelsea Academy 3-0 and continued with the 5-0 thrashing of Platini FC.
On Wednesday, they ended their completed their test series with 2-0 win over B.A. United.
Ghana coach, Bashiru Hayford has expressed satisfaction with the team’s build up and remained optimistic about their chances on Sunday.
“When it comes to the Starlets, everyone in the nation watches gleefully.
“Our predecessors qualified for the African championship and made it to finals and also for the under-17 world cup, we are also bent on making a major impact.”
