Officials of King Faisal FC have denied local media reports that chief executive, George Amoako has resigned his post.
Local reports Tuesday morning claimed George Amoako had tendered in his resignation letter due to a misunderstanding with the club’s founder and chairman, Alhaji Karim Grunsah.
George Amoako, a member of the FA’s executive committee joined King Faisal from city rivals, Kumasi Asante Kotoko in 2001 after a change in administration at the Porcipine Warriors.
Amoako, together with his former boss at Kotoko, Herbert Mensah switched camp to Faisal that saw a major transformation of the club.
Herbert Mensah his first season with King Faisal depart the Kumasi-based club while George Amoako stayed behind to continue with the Faisal dream.
