Sixty-four coaches in the Northern sector of the country would Monday morning begin the second phase of a coaching series under the supervision of football experts from the United Kingdom's University of Hull.
University of Hull coaching experts would take the selected coaches through various football coaching methods in Kumasi.
The course orgainsed by the Ghana Football Association has already seen some 30 selected coaches benefit from technical expertise during the first phase of the programme which ended on Sunday at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram.
Two females together with 28 coaches participated in the EUFA License 'B' coaching certificate course under the supervision of University of Hull coaching experts – Graham Potter (Football Development manager), Matthew Hornshaw (international officer), Paul Smith (Head coach) and David Frifby (Director of coaching).
The four officials, Graham Potter, Matthew Hornshaw, Paul Smith and David Frifby took the coaches through team tactics and strategic play.
The sixty-four coaches drawn from the Northern sector of the country would also be taught modern coaching methods by the football experts from the University of Hull.
The president of the Ghana Football Association, Kwesi Nyantakyi, says the move to have football coaching experts from the U.K's Hull University is part of the football association's plans to build on the human resource base in the country.
The FA president also hinted the Ghana Football Association would be forging closer ties with the Hull University that would benefit the various national teams and assigns of the FA.
"We would be seeking to let our junior national teams use their training facilities in the build up to tournaments.
"Also, we are looking at having people enroll at the educational unit to upgrade their knowledge in various areas of the sport thus both technical and administration.
"It's a gradual process which we hope would bring much benefit to the nation."
The course is also an equivalent of CAF's Intermediate certificate.
