Ghana’s national under-20 team, the Black Satellites stopped Senegal’s junior Teranga Lions from roaring after eliminating them from the African Youth Championship qualifers.
The Black Satellites beat the junior Teranga Lions 2-1 in Dakar to qualify for the next stage of qualifiers for the 2007 African Youth Championship to be hosted by Congo.
Ghana qualified to the next stage on a 4-1 aggregate scoreline.
Ghana would now play Burkina Faso over two legs in September for qualification to the 2007 African Youth Championship to be hosted by Congo.
The junior Teranga Lions drew first blood but the Black Satellites clawed back into the game and leveled up through Kojo Asamoah.
Mark Adu Amofa completed job for Ghana scoring the second goal.
The Black Satellites stopped beat the junior Teranga Lions 2-0 in the first leg of the African Youth Championship qualifier a fortnight ago in Obuasi.
The Satellites had a tall order to win the game at all cost as they missed the last two editions of the African Youth competitions.
Other African nations to qualify are Malawi, who won 3-2 on aggregate Lesotho.
Rwanda beat Kenya 2-0 on aggregate while Nigeria won 3-2 on aggregate over Gabon.
Tunisia qualified after Benin withdrew with Gambia winning 4-2 on aggregate against Morocco
