Dutch side, Heracles Almelo have wrapped up a loan deal for Ghana starlet Emmanuel Boakye.

The former Ajax full back is well thought of in Amsterdam, but coach Henk ten Cate has plenty of options in that area and feels a spell away from the club will benefit the 21-year-old.

Heracles stepped in with an offer last week and Ajax sanctioned the season-long loan deal on Friday.

Boakye, who made his Ajax debut in September 2005, will make the move to Heracles next week and will be available for selection for the season opener with Twente.
